Insertion of a fraction in a text

OOo4Kids, like OpenOffice.org allows to write a fraction without exit the text processor. Below, is described how to proceeed :

1. Write the fraction in the text, using the "over" keyword instead of the fraction bar, and adding a space character as separator (between the operands, and the "over" keyword).
   Example : Three-quarters of a cake can be written 3 over 4
2. Select the text of the fraction
   Looks like : Three-quarters of a cake can be written 3 over 4
3. In the menu, select Insert Formula, and 3 over 4 automatically transformed in in fraction
   Result : Three-quarters of a cake can be written

Important you need to hit once the ESC key to retrieve the cursor.

Modification of an existing fraction

Double left clic the fraction.
Opens, on the bottom of the window, the equation editor in editing mode, showing the code matching with the displayed fraction.
Modify the code of the fraction.
If needed, use the round brackets { } to group the terms of the numerator or the one of the denominator.
Example : {2+1} over 7 allows to group both terms on the numerator (try to compare with 2 + {1 over 7} and 2 over {1+7} )

In this case, you'll need to hit twice the ESC key to retrieve the cursor, and to be ready to continue the text entry (one time to exit the equation editor, and one to retrieve the cursor)
