IRC Meetings
What is the IRC?
Internet Relay Chat (chat in real time on the internet) is a communication protocol whose operation is rather simple: it connects to a server (there are several: Freenode, EFnet, etc. Quakenet ...), then joins a channel (# educoo, # OOo4Kids, etc..). Once in the channel, you can talk to various people connected.
You must use a client software specific to your OS, choose a nickname and connect to join OOo4kids.
Here is the information needed:
- Network: irc.freenode.net
- Channel : # OOo4Kids
- Used encoding : UTF-8
Schools on IRC
This page is the entry point of weekly (expected) IRC meetings we do with students, to mange their applications, or whatever relevant, sorted by month.
