• Installing an application : go to the depot, and choose your application. then choose a location to save it. And at the end, don't forget to show all files ( contextual menu, right click), to retrieve what you downloaded ..
• Like on Mac OS X, once installed, you can dock an application. Just Drag and drop the icon from the directory to the dock. Release the mouse button in the middle of two icons. This can be tricky :-)

• Installing subversion

• download the archive from the depot (search for subversion)
  • double click to extract it,
  • and install it (my choice) in Work:SDK

I have chosen Work: disk by default for all application, excepted for some who ask nothing and go themselves at the right location (nice idea ;) )

The way subversion must be used is strange, because you have to give the full path, and mount something (why oh why ?) at the end.

Still wondering how to install an application properly, where is the system( what is a normal tree ?) ... where put what, and how to add something ... how things are organized and so on.

This is not well documented IMHO.

The svn co svn://svn.adullact.net/svnroot/ooo4kids1/trunk r581 seems to work well ... (uff).

Tomorrow : see what will happen when I'll run the first "configure "  :-)
